Pre-Event we hosted pre-events in April and May to help set the stage.

Watching a short video of Dr. Jane, we will reflect on her life’s journey and the passion behind her work. Drawing on recent data from the Nippon Foundation, we will also explore why her visit to Japan is so meaningful right now—and why “hope” matters. This session will also highlight the key features of the upcoming events during her visit.

As a lead-up to Dr. Jane Goodall’s commemorative lecture in Japan, we will be hosting an online pre-event featuring the speakers who will join the cross-talk session. These individuals are deeply engaged in empowering children through various approaches—such as inquiry-based learning, nature-based education, and community-rooted initiatives—and are taking meaningful action alongside them.

Educators For Future is a community for those who wish to talk about climate change in educational settings and integrate it into their own practice.
