JANE in JAPAN 2025 came to a successful close thanks to the heartfelt support and participation of so many people. Through crowdfunding, through the efforts of dedicated volunteers, and through the kindness extended from across Japan and around the world, we received an outpouring of support—for which we are truly grateful. The irreplaceable time we shared with Dr. Jane Goodall, together with all of you, has planted seeds of hope in our hearts. We sincerely hope those seeds will grow into action in each of your lives.
To everyone who walked alongside us over the many months of preparation for this event, and to those who have continued to believe in and support the Jane Goodall Institute Japan since her last visit in 2023—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Without your love, it would not have been possible to welcome Dr. Jane back to Japan.
This is just the beginning. Let’s continue to expand the circle of Roots & Shoots and pass the baton of action on to the future. By listening to the voices of children, and learning together as adults, we hope to keep weaving Dr. Jane’s words and wisdom into the tapestry of our shared journey.
